Enhances your effectiveness as a therapist
Reduces the physical strain of manual therapies
Immediately incorporated into current treatments.
Improves patient compliance

This clinically based workshop teaches the FFT method which is ideal for those therapists who need to instantly control their patients pain to reduce muscle inhibition and allow you to proceed with your treatment.

The FFT method has a unique objective assessment procedure and tape application, to create pain relief and provides therapeutic load that encourages treatments to last longer. This gives your patients/athletes the freedom to continue activity and rehabilitation with ongoing analgesia.

FFT is currently the subject of a PhD which includes a randomised controlled trial.

FFT is now used by Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Massage Therapists (recently Chiropractors) in Finland, Israel, Middle East, Guernsey, USA, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, England, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia.

Please see the Workshop dates Page.

You will learn taping techniques, FFT principles and concepts that can be applied to most musculoskeletal pathologies and can be immediately incorporated in your clinic/club.

The following programme is taught to serve as a framework for the treatment of multiple conditions presented to therapists.

This workshop includes Functional Restrictive Taping. (FRT) limits the harmful range/s of movement while allowing other pain free ranges, the freedom of movement. Athlete user friendly.

You must have completed Level 1 before doing Level 2

Level 2 Workshop includes: Notes, Products, Statement of attendance, Certificate and FFT® Accreditation on completion case studies.

Therapists are offered 2 types of course participation:

The workshop is taught over two sessions. If you choose the competency part of the program, level 1 and 2 have guided learning between the sessions. Or you can do it as an intenesive over one weekend followed by assessment for accrediation which also gains extra points from assoications. See below for insurance* and accrediation details

Participants are given the choice of 2 types of participation at the workshops. One is to attend the workshops and receive a Statement of Attendance including hours of training for continuing education points from associations.

The second type of participation is to actively participate in the program by demonstrating competency in the method. This is our own accreditation process which is accepted by the major Australian Associations.
Those who successfully demonstrate competence receive a Certificate of Accreditation in the practice of FFT® and will receive additional continuing education points from their Associations. The option of achieving competency and accreditation provides a means of ensuring quality control, as well as a means of ensuring that participants have a good practical and theoretical understanding of the method.

Practical and case study proformas are required for both workshops.

*Insurance: The FFT® Accreditation of Competence allows for insurance cover (Australian Remedial Massage/Myotherapist) specific requirement.
